Lealands High School
Lealands High School is a Secondary School located in Sundon Park, Luton. The school attracts students from Sundon Park and various other surrounding areas. It was judged good with outstanding behaviour and safety by Ofsted in 2013. The school has 3 stories and facilities include a swimming pool, tennis courts, sports hall, science laboratories, technology workshops and music studios.
== Specialism ==
As of September 2006, the school was awarded 'Specialist Sports College' status. This was part of a nationwide plan spearheaded by the Department of Education to raise standards in education.〔http://www.standards.dfes.gov.uk/specialistschools/what_are/?version=1〕 The school has seen various improvements in its facilities since being awarded the status. The specialist school programme has now ended, but Lealands High School continues to offer sport as a specialism.
